Integrity

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is a company committed to integrity. From customers, to co-workers, to community, our principles are emphasized and upheld in every aspect of our business. We treat people with respect.

This core value is demonstrated throughout our company. We strive to exceed our customers’ expectations every time. And we are doing it again and again – 96% of our customers would recommend us to friends and family. We work hard to remain a role model in the moving and customer service industry.

Honesty and fairness are the foundations for everything we do. Every office operates on the basis of these values.


Give back to the community

Giving back to the community has been a part of the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® mission since its first year in operation. Founder Mary Ellen Sheets donated the first $1,000 profit by giving $100 to 10 different charities.

This commitment to giving is shared by franchises across the country. We believe in supporting our communities. Locations donate thousands of hours and money to non-profit organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Toys for Tots and the Salvation Army. In addition, a portion of every move completed by the system is annually donated to the American Cancer Society.

THE GRANDMA RULE® is a unique principle that we live by at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®. This rule means we treat everyone the way you would want your grandmother to be treated – with care and respect.

Although we operate on a large, multi-market, international scale, we maintain a friendly, small-town feel. All of our franchises are dedicated to every detail involved in a move. Through every step we keep THE GRANDMA RULE® in mind and treat your possessions as they were our own – or our Grandma’s.

While we work hard to be the best we can professionally, we also value a balanced life. We understand it is important to appreciate every moment and have fun at both work and home. This culture provides a motivating and positive work environment that carries over to our customers.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® was built on strong core values including being a role model in the moving and franchising industries and treating everyone with care and respect. We understand the importance of diversity and inclusion for both the workplace -- and when we work with customers. That’s why we have created our Emerging Markets Department. This department will work to educate our franchise system about the importance of accepting and embracing all people.

To gain further insight and guidance on understanding inclusion, we have joined several multicultural chambers of commerce from around the country. Additionally, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® was a sponsor for the Diversity Best Practices and Business Women’s Network WOW! Facts event held in Washington, DC. This meeting discussed the growth of women and minorities in business around the globe.
